We all had a fantastic time at our School Fun Day on Thursday 7th May! ☀️🎤🍦

We kicked things off with some brilliant karaoke performances in the morning before enjoying treats from the ice cream van, bouncing on the bouncy castle, and taking part in our very popular “Soak the Teacher” challenge! 💦

We had a very popular special guest as Mr Dunne’s dog Cooper made an appearance and stole the hearts of everyone he came in contact with! 🐕

The afternoon brought plenty of laughs and competition with novelty races including wheelbarrow, sack and spud-and-spoon races, followed by tug of war battles. The day finished with the much-anticipated Teachers vs 6th Years rounders match, where once again the teachers retained their title! 💪

A huge thank you to Mr Larkin and his 5th Year LCVP class for organsing and running everything, and to the mentors from Maples Group who helped to cover some of the running costs. We were also delighted to welcome some of the mentors, along with Suzanna from Business in the Community, who visited the school to see the day in action, join in the karaoke, and enjoy an ice cream with their mentees.
