Our History
Founded in 1930

Loreto College Crumlin was established in 1930 by a group of pioneering Loreto Sisters—starting with just £5—aiming to provide quality Catholic education for local girls in the vibrant communities of Crumlin, Drimnagh, Rialto, and Dolphins Barn.

Today, we serve approximately 450 students, hailing from nearly 40 countries, reflecting our diverse and inclusive ethos.

As part of a global family of Loreto schools—17 voluntary secondaries, 5 community schools, and 9 primary schools across Ireland—Loreto Crumlin shares a rich legacy of Mary Ward’s vision and international connectivity.
