My Journey Through Education:

Studied Legal Studies in Letterkenny RTC, then started a law degree in Griffith College Dublin, part-time while working, but ended up going to DCU as a mature student to study Journalism.  Graduated in 2000!

 

My Career Path:

Worked in the legal profession while studying.  Joined Mirror Group News as a journalist after graduating DCU in 2000, left to join TV3 as a Producer on Ireland AM, went back to Sunday Mirror as Senior Report in 2003.  Left to have babies in 2007.  Got involved in politics locally and ran in local elections in 2014, becoming a County Councillor. Topped the poll in the 2019 elections with the highest individual vote on South Dublin County Council!
