The comic story of how a disco club singer; Deloris Van Cartier winds up in a convent, teaching a bunch of tone-deaf nuns how to sound like a gospel choir will be staged in our school concert hall at 7.30pm each night.
For three nights they packed out our school concert hall and had audiences on their feet at the end of every night.
They told the story of Deloris von Cartier, a soul diva who was forced to hide out in a Philadelphia convent after she witnessed a murder. Living with a bunch of welcoming, yet eccentric nuns, Deloris found out the true value of friendship and love and even turned the convent’s caterwauling choir into a show stopping chorus.
