My Journey Through Education:
1987-1991 (Bachelor in Music Education in Trinity College Dublin and the DIT). 1998 (MPhil in Music Education in the DIT. 2015 (Diploma in Emergency Medical Science in UCD and the National Ambulance Service College). 2018, started a doctorate in higher and adult education in Maynooth University. Currently studying for the Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medical Science in UCD.
My Career Path:
1987-2001 – Bassoonist with RTE National Symphony and Concert Orchestras, Irish Chamber Orchestra etc. 1999-2015 – worked with horses! 2015 to the present – paramedic with the National Ambulance Service, currently studying to be an advanced paramedic.
